There was an American 'cop' series on British tv (channel five?) a couple of years ago called Boomtown. It starred Donnie Wahlberg of New Kids on the Block fame. It seemed to disappear after one series. Does anyone know what happened? Did channel five not commision any more? I thoroughly enjoyed it and always thought there would be more of it.

There was a second season made, but it only lasted 6 episodes before getting the chop. I can't remember if 5 ever showed the 6 episodes (I have a feeling only FX289 did in the UK).
