Shop Keeper

I'm sure I should have been a shop keeper.
I get such a buzz out of buying stuff cheap at Car Boot sales and selling them on e-bay. Even when I only make a few quid profit.
Just love the thrill of it.
I picked up a DVD box set a couple of weeks back.
Jane Austen all the films (BBC release) for £1 and sold it via e-bay Buy It Now for £20. Guess I made £16 ish profit ....but the rush I got ...
A girl friend said to me once , that I was money motivated.
I figure she was right.

Micmak, be brave, it's really easy listing and selling on eBay, I do it all the time - I sell all sorts of things we no longer need (and probably never did!), to pay for our holiday spending money.

Well done sir !
I usually buy a few dvd's at car boots but will only pay 1.00 each max so I picked up three today and cheekily said to the lady 'how much bulk discount do I get?' expecting 50p off or something and she said 'Ok then a pound for the three'.
Bargain - over 4 hours entertainment for a quid!.

DVD Box sets is what you need to look out for.
I have picked up a few boot sale bargains and sold them on e-bay.
Best yet is a phone (Black 1937) ...cost with conversion £40.
Hope to get £150-£200 on e-bay with luck.
Poole 1932 biscuit barrel for £1 and got £40 for it ...
No Moorcroft or Clarice Cliff yet :-(
Listing on e-bay is very simple. Just take a digital picture on your camera , upload it to your pc.
When you sell on e-bay it will ask you to select picture to upload and off you go ...
With DVD you can tap in the barcode number and it will select a picture and description from a database.

Not so sure if it's an intelligent move to boast that you are evading tax on your trading while having a picture of yourself as an avatar BTW.

Yes I'm a tax dodger. Only paid £30k last year via PAYE.
I will flee abroad I think Panama or Mexico.
Anything to avoid paying tax on my £16 profit on that DVD box set.
Lighten up dear !
And they wonder why CB is dead these days.
Big LOL
You start a light hearted thread and end up a tax dodger ...
