well, i went back to the book and struggled past the bishop bit.
I am now really into it. I'm at the part where jean valjean has decided to go to arres to give himself up (to free the other guy who's been mistaken for him). he's just at the town, wondering wheter to get the wheel fixed on his cart, or turn back and carry on being monsieur le maire.
Poor Fantine is in hospital, awaiting the arrival of cosette.
Now then, do i carry on, or should I leave it for now, and find out what happens when I watch the show?
I know there's tons more - my kindle tells me I'm only 18% through it!
I go next wednesday and am now very very excited!!

Take plenty of tissues to the performance. Be prepared to let your ice cream melt in the interval. My companions and I left the theatre in complete silence. Nobody talked on the tube journey to the main line station. I still get shivers when I hear the song "Bring him home"
I hope that you enjoy the performance as much as I did.
