Torchwood..did I see what I thought I saw???
12 Answers
Still struggling along with this story line. Finally got to see an actual alien this week. Smited with melty liquid...how interesting was that, not much. Far more interesting was the flash of manly bits. During the sex scene when Jack moved away from Angelo...I swear .....on BBC 1!!!!!!!Not sure what the demographic for Torchwood was before this series, but pretty sure it will be shifting drastically. Did I imagine it? Or did anyone else notice?

Why was almost the whole episode dedicated to soft porn? and gay soft porn to boot?
There was not even half the graffic sex between Rex and the doctor woman.
The sex scenes between Jack and Angelo were totaly pointless. It wasn't even Angilo's first time! so couldn't possibly be about infatuation. They could have shown the 'after sex' intimacy of talking and cuddleing that appeared to be the clincher for Angelo not the sex.
The whole series to date could and should have been at least three episodes less and the story tightened up considerbly.
Torchwood has always been the grown-up Dr Who but gay porn at 9pm is shameful. To court controversy is one thing to be blantently say fu fu fu to get a reaction lessens the (normaly) good work of the programme.
Shame on Starz, shame on BBC Wales.

We all know from previous series that Captain Jack is a bit of a ***, so I'm assuming the 'sex scene' was to show how intense and special his relationship was with Angelo and in that respect it succeeded. I thought it was quite tastefully done and showed how romantic and sensitive Jack could be. Like Whickerman I have no problem with sex scenes after 9 and I'm certainly no homophobe but having said all that I still felt uncomfortable watching it. How nonsensical is that?! :)
