Heeeeeelp please!!!

Just had computer guy out to sort my slow/freezing laptop out. He installed windows 7, Microsoft Office (as my Microsoft Works 2000 was out of memory) & new AVG antivirus. It is like a new laptop now, very fast. The problem i've got is trying to reinstall my documents form my memorystick. All i've managed is my photos, everything else is like Chinese writing? Also on my Facebook i cannot acces my games comes up 'Could Not Embed Appflash'?
Any help apprieciated.

This is because you haven't yet reinstalled the programmes required to open your existing documents. i.e. Adobe Reader, media player[s] etc. I am sure you will get further replies that can be more specific than mine.
