Havebeen sittinghere for ages trying to work this one out ....can't find anything on the net, either ....
"This town has long been associated with the good life. Artists flocked to the area in the 19th century, attracted b the ever-changing light. Thebourgeiosie followed, to play on the boardwalks and beaches. it holds a film festival dedicated, oddly perhaps to the cinema of another nation. Gambling and horse racing are big news, too. Name the town.
The four pix are: a french looking chateau (although it could be faux French), Jack Nicholson and Sean Penn on a balcony overlooking parked cars and people, a famous french painting of ladies with umbrellas on a beach, and a row of what looks l ike beach huts on aboardwalk.
It looks more like the south of France than the USA
