ruined by sampling
I love this track, it's been used in the end credits of Napoleon Dynamite and in Mary & Max and it's one of those songs that just evokes happy feelings in me.
However, it's now been sampled by Leona Lewis in her latest song which has subsequently been used as back ground in the X Factor which means it's going to be over played and possibly destroy the love I have for it.
Are there and songs that, for you, have been destroyed due to sampling in pop songs?

Thie hit has nothing what ever to do with the guy mumbling over it - the apeal is all in the quirky bass and drums sampled off Andrea True's 'More More More' - without the framework of a previous hit, this would be nowhere at all - as proved by their failrue to have another hit - stolen or not.

Booldawg - that's not sampling, that's a cover version - completely different scenario.
