Video Taping Sky Channel Programmes
6 Answers
Can anyone explain to me how to set my video to tape programmes off Sky channels? Currently my video recording numbers coincide with terrestrial channel numbers, i.e. No. 1 on the video = BBC1, No. 2 = BBC2, etc., but what do you set to record one of the many on Sky. I can tape a Sky programme at the moment, providing I am actually watching it at the same time, by using L1 on the recorder, but how can I tape one programme on Sky and watch another?

The basic problem remains however they all come though the same channel. You can watch terrestial and tape sky but you cannot watch a sky channel and record another, this is the same with cable. I've got Sky+ I'd hate to be without it now, you can chuck away the video you need it not! You can pause live tv, you can record programs easily now or in the future even entire series so you don't miss anything, I think it's awesome. No I don't work for sky, credit where it's due it's a great product, knocks spots off cable.
