/// On the show’s online messageboard, many viewers registered their complaints. saying that the routines have become too gimmicky.
“Wish we could leave the props alone and go back to just dancing,” said one. ///
Do you agree? I myself think it adds a certain amount of interest to what could be otherwise a rather systemic and boring show.
/// Some suggested that viewers might be voting to save Miss Dell’Olio’s partner, Anton du Beke, ///
I also agree that the only purpose to retain feisty Dell’Olio, is this fact.
Is it really fair for the likes of Jason Donovan to appear on this contest taking into account his high profile stage musical career?

yep, agree that probably anton's fan base is voting for him and not oily nancy.
yep, it's fair, it's always good to have differing abilities on the show. it's an entertainment show first and foremost, sometimes people can forget that and take it way too seriously.

Well I am enjoying it, and I haven't really bothered watching it before this year. I love the entertainment value and the music and dancing and props and the humour between the judges and it compares to the old fashioned variety shows that we don't hve any more.
The competitive element doesn't matter to me at all.
And it's a nice mix to get those who have never danced with those that are already in showbusiness like Jason.
And what's more that footballer blonde chappiews phewwww gorgeous both last week and this week - so I will kepwatching.
And I agree that viewers are keeping Nancy to save Anton, who is a treasure.

i love, love, love the whole strictly thing. just wish claudia was doing the week-day programme at 6.30pm as usual instead of zoe ball, although i understand it's because she's just had a baby. zoe does her best but she's just not claudia. do any of you belong to the digital spy strictly forum? very entertaining reading.
