Yes, far too many to mention. However with regards to Steps reforming, i'm well chuffed, I liked em (no really I did!). If I can get someone to go with me i'd go see them :-)
Never really got into Steps the first time round, not my cup of tea. However my musical guilty pleasures are ELO, Supertramp and Chicago. Shushhh don't tell anyone ;)
No, I can't do 'guilty pleasures' even ironically.
Music is a major part of my life, and I love what I love, and i have never felt the remotest desire to hide or justify what I enjoy.
My all-time favourite singles include 'Saturday Night' and 'Ruff Mix' and if i hear any good Europop when I'm abroad, I will track it down when I get home.
I remember coming back from Spain (this was before downloads etc) and searching high and low for a record shop that had even heard of 'Macarena' - much less got a copy!
I'm a little bit annoyed by all this Steps mayhem, the onlt reason they're doing so well in the charts is the 'quirk' factor. If people liked them so much they'd already have their album, their songs aren't really that good to attract so many new fans.
The gigs, fair enough, there'll be loads of people after a laugh at the campness of them, it'll be like one giant hen party!
Got loads of guilty pleasures musicwise, but I've got a rep to protect!! ;)
Oh loads! I tend to like old, naff 70's & 80's music. Soft rock and soul are my favorites. Most of the stuff I like was out before I was even born, but there's just something about it that makes me "happy".
I had no idea Steps were back together? This is great news!
