Does anybody know who sings the version of Yazoo's 'Only you' featured in the background on the recent BBC3 programme 'Jono: finding my family on facebook'? Many thanks for your help with this!

The most well known cover was the Flying Pickets acapela version. Could it be that?
Alison Moyet was in Yazoo wasn't she, Omar?

I thought vince Clarke was Depeche Mode . I always get confused between Erasure, Yazoo and Depeche mode. It was a long time ago
An early version of this was sung by the Platters(no 1 in the States, no 5 in uk ) but this was in 1955.
Vince Clarke left Depeche Mode after their first album (Speak and Spell) before forming Yazoo with Alf, The Assembly with Feargal Sharkey et al and then Erasure with Andy Bell.
The Platters song is totally different...

Thanks Mark- so I was right but I had not remembered that Vince had been in all 3

And the Ringo Starr talking Only You was definitely not the Yazoo song either
Thanks Mark, I didn't see the programme and was going by the title.
