No wonder I/we long for the tele nights of old :-(

When they arrive that's my Saturday night viewing sorted for a few weeks.

For the first time in ages, we haven't switched the TV on this evening. We've been out today, just had some food and now I'm on here and OH is reading the papers. I have a couple of magazines to read and he has his crossword. I might look at the news later but nothing else caught my eye.

Carakeel and myself and the furkids had a lovely evening, we have just come back from our wild garden sitting in our summerhouse by the light of some naked flame torches and had a BBQ.

I'm happy enough with Strictly, Merlin (Prince Arthur...phwoar!) and Law & Order SVU.

I remember when I was little though so looking forward to Saturday night TV, Kenny Everett, Russ Abbott, game shows, Dr Who (pre Matt Smith!), the better days of Casualty and the like. Always a lovely salad for tea then a lovely pudding like toasted teacakes and good TV.
