Is Sir Bruce Forsyth so strapped for cash, that he has to now appear in a Morrison's TV advert?

Maybe he just wanted to.
Surely you could say that about any of hundreds of people who appear on ads. Why pick on Bruce? Why shouldn't he earn while he can ready for his retirement
Good on old Brucie - he can do what he wants !

Because he is not just an Ex-Big House occupant, or Get Me Out Of Here 'star'???? etc, etc.

He is a real star who has been preforming successfully for years, and still continues to due so.

I can understand a failing star trying to earn a bit of cash while they still can.

And I can understand such personalities as Brucie carrying on working at what he is good at, even though he doesn't now need the money.

These kind of long running stars do not particularly need the money, it is the 'Buzz' of being in front of a live audience they require.

So I repeat, why an Ad?
Didn't he do ads for Stork in the past?
Because he also gets a 'buzz' from seeing himself on TV.
And I repeat - because he can do what he wants ..
Is today anti-bruce day?
First someone asked was he being racist on strictly and now this?
As far as i know brucie has money so maybe he just likes working and remaing active and in the publics eye?
maybe it was just a case of 'Why not'! I'm sure he's being paid a fair whack for sitting on a ride eating a game pie for 2 mins!
Why not, AOG?

I can't abide the man but would agree that he has a perfect entitlement to endorse whatever he chooses whenever he chooses.

Why do you believe that he shouldn't?
Being asked to front a major Christmas campaign for one of the 'Big4' is very flattering.

Apart from a big cheque I expect Sir Brucie still takes pride in being considered relevant to the British public. Something he can rib Tarbie about next time they meet.
"Because he is not just an Ex-Big House occupant, or Get Me Out Of Here 'star'????"

maybe that is why he appealed to morrissons. nations fave, national institution, recently knighted, salt of the earth etc etc
I luv Brucie !!!
he had to buy his own knighthood the queen was a bit short that month
whats wrong with appearing in an advert?

good on him, easy money
The other celebrities aren't from reality shows anyway are they?
I just know you're all rushing to buy this doozy ;-)

I like him because I remember how excellent he was in the past - a genuine all round entertainer with talent and I think his knighthood was well overdue. I admit he is past his best but still have a fondness for him.

AOG. Loads of much big stars appear in adverts - it's accepted and it's certainly not felt to be beneath anybody to do so.
But I won't be buying his new album, BOO!!
