Was maury neing a little inappropriate?

I was just watching maury and he had a 13 year old girl on that was ran over by her grandmother or mother.
The 13 year old was crying and was saying that she's teased and bullied by her classroom peers and maury then proceeded to run his fingers across the scars which were on her inner knee and on the outside of her thigh.
Now i know maury didn't mean nothing by it and was being watched by a whole audience, crew and several million viewers.
Do you think that maybe he should've thought that one out?
Had the mother or grandmother being offended they could've easily tried a sexual assault case against him and afterall he is a multimillionaire and celebrity.
What do you think?

has anyone actually made any sort of claim of this morgan? is it news? or is it just something that occurred to you?


i dont think morgan is saying maury should be in trouble for this, or that what he did was wrong in itself...but that it is the sort of thing some nasty people can use against him to get compensation, blow it up out of proportion, especially as he a rich and famous person and therfore perhaps more of target for these unscrupulous scammers... and so for that reason alone he perhaps would have been wise to think twice before doing it.

sadly sometimes the accusation in itself is enough to ruin some peoples lives or at least careers...regardless of whether it is thrown out of court... mud sticks as they say...

i think its sad that someone showing fatherly concern for a child could ever be thought of that way... but its a fact that sometimes it happens...

(i dont think assault would be the word they would try to use though, would it?)
