He doesn't seem like a very nice person. The way he ate all those awful yukky things, he looked like a pig, and looking at Mark like that, so cocky, willing Mark to lose. But he got his just desserts (scuse the pun). Don't like him. What do you think ?

50s and 60s to be precise
smurf, apologies for going off topic
Celebrity wife swap....Is that not edited? You form an opinion on someone, entirely by a show, that's edited to within an inch of it's life.

People make me laugh...

I know a couple of people who know him personally........he's just as he seems on screen, apparently.

I have never been able to abide the man.

Hi Joy,that is so true,re the Music Era !
Hopefully, without risk of having my knuckles rapped, why was your thread "pulled" yesterday, when we dared to air our grievances.
Looks to me as though it might me a case of "Que Sera Sera"
Apologies smurf for posting this in your thread.
Kind Regards Dave.
Beside wifeswap, when was the last time he was on TV? I can't remember him...
I read his autobiography. He`s a very strange man. He`s like a kid who has tantrums because everything bad that happens to him in life is someone else`s fault. He thinks the world is against him. I thought he was eccentrically funny in his early days but like a lot of off the wall people, there is a fine line between them being funny and being a complete mental case.
Obviously I can remember him....I just don't remember any of his routines or what he was actually on.
I dislike him because he is a loose cannon
no idea dave and really don't care :-)
arhhh Doris Day..lol, now ya talking, I think I should wonder over to the Music section a while eh?
like others here, i liked him on tv many years ago.
then i saw him live.....
