Strictly at Wembley

I love Strictly (Ok so most don't), but , I just don't think it worked at Wembley.
The arena was just too big, the lights, props etc just too distracting.

Nah, get back to Blackpool for the big event.

What do you lot think?

yep, have to agree chaffinch. far too big, couldn't see enough of the dancing, back to blackpool next time i hope. i wonder whose idea it was to take it to wembley? i defo wouldn't bother going to see it live at any arena, i bet you'd hardly see anything.

Agree with you all, I'd only go to see it (if not in the studio) at Blackpool. Keep "ballroom dancing" in a ballroom.

Yes completely agree chaffinch. With everything going on it was hard to focus on the actual dancing. Blackpool is so much better.

I agree too though it raised a load more money for Children in Need so can't be a bad thing for a one off.

I find the US version really hard to watch too.

Haven't seen tonight's show I sky+ed it as I was watching Barcelona play Zaragoza in the Spanish League. All your comments make me wonder whether to watch it now or just delete and wait for the results tomorrow

I agree, the venue was too large - I felt that Artem and Holly had to gallop the quickstep right round the arena!

That 'rushed' performance could easily have cost Holly dearly. I won't spoil the fun and reveal who goes for those who want to watch tonight

And all that running up and down those blinking stairs in the middle ! They could have earnt just as much for charity at Blackpool couldn't they ? Way too big at Wembley, not a relaxing programme, I usually enjoy it. How do you know the result sir.prize - were you there ?

Disappointed with results show. Two lots of music WITHOUT dancing. Sorry about the shout but the dancing is the whole point isn't it. Sure guest dancers are available.

Finally watched last night's show, then the results. Agree that the venue was too big, very echo-y with the sound. Felt that Holly would have been better dancing with Brendan since she'd been rehearsing all week with him Artem coming back at the last minute did her no favours. Loved the Beatles bit at the beginning of the results show though. Let's get back to Blackpool next year!
