Does anyone know when and on which channel a documentary about William Golding will be broadcast? According to our local paper, it was meant to be shown in December but despite keeping an eye out in the TV schedules I haven't seen it or maybe I've missed it?!

The documentary is a Lone Star production as part of the Arena series for BBC and was intended to be aired on BBC Four in 2011, being Golding's centenary year.

It has not yet been broadcast and appears will not meet the deadline as Arena does not feature in the BBC Four listings for the next fortnight.

An update for those who may chance upon this thread:

'Arena: The Dreams of William Golding' is scheduled to be broadcast on BBC2 at 9.30pm Saturday 17th March (at least 3 months late!), immediately followed by a showing of the 1963 film adaptation of 'Lord of the Flies'.
