I felt so sorry for Richard, the hoarder - and was so glad he finally recognised he had a problem. He appeared to be very intelligent and articulate, it was hard to see how he fell into that rut. And hail the gardener who helped him & encouraged the community to. I started out thinking they were just a bunch of snobs, but they weren't - once they found that Richard was ready to help himself, they came in their droves. Good on them & good luck to Richard, hope he's getting somewhere now.

Was that the programme that was on a few weeks ago? I really wanted to watch that, but I missed it. Was he the man in the programme trailers who was crawling through a gap in piles of stuff in his house? And he said something like he wasn't really living, just existing?

Yes it was, I missed it too at the time and it was repeated last night. Shame you missed it, it was good - it may come on again though?
maybe I could watch it on my computer. What time and channel was it on?
