E/Enders & Corie

I've been wondering for a long time if anyone else has noticed that in E/Enders and Corie no-one seems to have any carpets, you constantly hear the clack of shoes on bare floors even in the Rovers, I've never seen a pub without a carpet. We're past 'Spit & Sawdust' times aren't we?
I know its daft but it bugs me.

I have wooden floors throughout, not a carpet in the place.................which is good when the dog has accidents.

Oooo! No carpets in your pubs? I like carpets in pubs gives the place ambulance. (joke)
At home we're laminate all through too but I love my colourful squishy rugs.
It bugs me too about just putting a coat on & going out. I have to check my hair put a bit of lippy on get my bag check I've got money even a quick pee.
