Must have missed some of it - John and Moira were getting divorce last time I saw it, then last night they were obviously going out somewhere when they had the crash - how did that come about?

They decided to put the divorce on hold and were going to try again. They were on their way to a hotel I think for a night away.

It's such a shame the accident happened on the way to the hotel and not on the way home. Why couldn't they just have one last night of passion before losing him !
