ms outlook - help

i have the latest ms outlook. somehow i have adjusted the formatting so that carriage returns show as a funny little symbol in the outgoing email (it doesn't show tot he reciever) How do i get rid please?

If you're interested, they were just formatting marks to easily show where things like carriage returns and page breaks are, they don't change the content they are just a visual indication of what's always there but invisible.
