The judges really got on my nerves last week so when I watched it tonight I put it on mute while the judges were speaking, but I still don't think this format will work.
It gives people a chance with great talent that normaly get turned down just by there image. There are not many successful pop artists out there that are overweight or ugly because they get turned away before they get a chance just on their image. This program is judging them on their talent and not their physical looks. Many successful artists of the past that are well known would have no chance in this day of age. These days you have to look perfect to fit into all the half naked pop videos and if you don't they turn you away.
Awful, I can't watch it. I record X Factor and just watch the acts, fast forward the celebs getting out of their cars, talking to Ant and Dec, adverts, etc. It only lasts about twenty minutes that way !
What I found annouying was that they didn't buzz on some but when they saw them wanted to chage their minds. Just goes to show it is about what they look like!!
I like those acts, Prudie, they make me laugh. When it gets to the best ones I don't watch any more. I think The Voice is boring because they don't have any funny/bad singers.
Not another entertainment reality - what a yawn.....
And so is BGT as the novelty is wearing off - ok there are two candidates who are good (so far) but the bad acts are cringingly bad and not that funny. No wonder the Cowell wants to make this the last. About time too.
I guess there will be some "amusement" for Eurovision what with Tom Jones sniffing the Russian Grannies panties......both acts appear to be totally dismal and meriting "nul points" from the 23 nations that appear to now make up the Ghenghis Khan view of what Europe covers.
