The press stated today, that some of the cast of Loose Women were off sick with Shingles, it went on to say they had caught it off each other, but surely this is wrong
I have had Shingles just recently, and my Doctor informed me that you can't catch Shingles off some one else, you can however catch Chicken Pox off some one with Shingles,
So was my Doctor correct?

Yes, your doctor is correct. Shingles is not a contagious disease so you can't catch shingles from someone who has it. You can however catch chickenpox from someone with shingles.
