Why didn't Wile E. Coyote spend less money on ACME rockets and more on Sainsbury's frozen skinless Roadrunner breasts?

Maybe he didn't like Sainsbury's.  I prefer other supermarkets myself.  Maybe they don't have Sainsbury's in cartoon world?  I guess it would have changed the whole topic of the cartoon if the ACME rockets wasn't there.

It just wouldn't have been half as much fun if he'd popped down to any local store. Maybe the ACME shop was the only local shop for miles and miles?? Dont forget this all happened before the days of the internet so he could hardly shop online now could he??

 

As a further question....How many times did Wily fall off that bloomin cliff, i bet he hasn't got health insurance!!

because he isn't a passive consumerist couch potato like most of us, he gets out and does things, even trying to catch his own food. In the golden age of cartoons, action was what made them work; even today, you can make cartoons about slackers but they're really only good for showing to other slackers - ie at home on the sofa - not in cinemas, which was what Chuck Jones was working for. (He was the inventor and animator of the coyote and the roadrunner.)

I've had those Sainsbury's frozen roadrunner breasts. If you defrost them in the microwave, it goes 'beep beep' when they're ready.

He'd obviously bought a job-lot of ACME products after watching some dodgy shopping channel, therefore he had no money left to buy Roadrunner Twizzlers, let alone frozen, skinless roadrunner breasts.

Mind you, you'd think he'd have taken note of the "Had an accident? Not your fault? Call ambulance chasers-4-U !" adverts. ( "I received $5,000 after an anvil fell on my head.... etc etc.")
