Watching Star Wars....... what order???
29 Answers
I am no film buff and I don't particularly like Star Wars...... but my son has never seen any of them and he really likes Clone Wars. We have these family nights where we watch films and it's the Star Wars Saga this time!
So, my question is.... in what order do we watch Star Wars(I don't mean what order are they as I know that) but..... Do we watch them as they were originally aired (just like when we were young) or in the order of the story.
It might be obvious to others but I'm not sure, were we meant to watch them in the wrong order etc...
Opinions appreciated, thank you :0)

Strictly speaking, it shouldn't matter, but there are some plot points imparted to the audience for the first time during the original films (episodes 4 - 6) that would be clear to an audience watching the films in order (1 - 6).

In TV sit coms they have a thing called " the jump the shark" moment, taken from a Happy Days episode when a show go's from OK to beyond the pale.
I always think that moment comes in a lot of US sitcoms, when they introduce a small child after a few series.
The small Anakien was Star Wars "Jump the shark"
