I'm really bored so went onto Magic's website to vote for their 'World's Greatest Movie Songs: Top 50' and was given a list to choose from! All my favourite movie songs are nowhere to be seen! What a joke! :|

strangely i patched into BBC4 last night for a little bit, and they were showing programme on The Allman Brothers, not my sort of music, but confess they were a great band, and then Lynyrd Skynyrd, which i only watched a smidgen off because it was late..
As to Movie music, i prefer soundtracks, like the one
to Gladiator, one of the greatest in my opinion.

I think a good soundtrack really makes or breaks a film for me. By soundtrack I mean both scores and individual songs. Braveheart has an amazing score but I love the soundtrack for Forrest Gump. Great songs picked so accurately for the scenes and time frame.

erin, look out next time Gladiator is on, the frame where Russell Crowe is lining up with his soldiers, he gives a command to hold the line, then the music just kicks in, makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up every time.

I've seen Gladiator before but can't really remember much about it. I might just go and treat myself to it from amazon lol! I'll look out for that bit though :) x

here's a thing, they are playing a great soundtrack at the minute, Classic FM, it's to the new film with Julia Roberts, Mirror Mirror, tremendous.. Not seen the film though, very impressive.
