I have an aerial looping through a sky + box and then going to a freeview box in another room. This is so that we will be able to watch freeview or sky in the second room. However, sometimes when the sky box is on in the first room the freeview signal is lost in the second room, especially the BBC channels and sometimes all channels are lost. Can anything be done to resolve this?

This may or may not be anything to do with going via the Sky+box but I have noticed on many occasions both my Freeview boxes lose all the BBC channels periodically. Every other channel is tip top. It's like the Beeb have forgotten to feed their meter with 50p pieces. In the diagnostics menu, signal strength is still at the normal 35 or 36% but the signal quality has dropped from 98% to less than 20%, sometimes it is down to 0%

I have never seen this with any other Freeview channel.

I actually bought an aerial signal booster yesterday spiky and fitted it in behind the tv in line before the sky box and so far it seems to have solved the problem.
