What a tantrum! Do you think he'll come back tomorrow?
I would have thought that all cooking was molecular cooking as the heat does something to the molecules in the food whether it's boiled, fried, roasted stewed or whatever.
I have the utmost respect for Marcus however I think he was to harsh on Johnnie.

Marcus has always been my favourite celeb chef so I'm a bit forgiving however it was toe curling. Molecular cooking must be an actual style as they kept saying it. I'll have a google.
I think that Marcus Waring was right - I think that molecular cooking is what Heston Blumenthal is all about - but I think that Johnnie has not understood the brief - I would expect a fish course to have some fish in it! Can you imagine what the judges would say if that had been dished up in front of them!
Heston doesn't really like the term molecular gastronomy.

i didnt like the " look " of any of the dishes ! but a great flounce :)
i loved the one with the rolled salmon marinated in beetroot

I felt sorry for jonnie but he got it so wrong and there was no need to have a tantrum like that. i think he does come back tonight
well 2-10 for such a great chef, i thought he was going to punch marcus !!!!!!!!!

I've never watched a cookery programme before but after reading this post I toddled off and watched this episode. I thought that the guy was going to start crying.

Did you enjoy it wolf? So Johnnie didn't return to the competition, I bet there were some spicy goings on off camera. Shame for the other two in a way.
