Escape to Victory 2

I heard rumours on the Radio that they are going to do a sequel to " Escape to Victory " and Pele wanted a part! Has anyone heard about this or know if its just gossip?

Heard this story also yesterday on "Real Radio" & it was also mentioned by a reporter on the tv this week when she was at the Cannes Film Festival.

the original was awful !

i hate football movies as the games always looked scripted and pre-rehearsed.

a particular low point of the great escape was releasing polish inmates from a concentration camp to be in the team and in no time at all they were fit as fiddles and all their troubles were behind them !

Every Football film i have seen has one hole in it - the matches look fake. There is usually a Winning Goal that even a Granny could save!

As far as Escape is concerned , I thought that watching Michael Caine looking Kn*ckered after a short run was worth the price of admission.

The most stupidiest film ever.  At  time they are in the dressing room and  a escape route appears. What they do?  do they escape from the Nazis?   no thye go out for the second half.   Absoulte rubbish

I totally love this film in a "its so badly acted and cheesy its bloody good" way.

Peles goal is still a classic too.
