Just watched Countdown. Have had to keep my finger over the pause button
as they've had Lesley Garrett in dictionary corner and she keeps singing [if you
can call it that]. I prefer Katherine Jenkins myself. Who would you like to see on dictionary corner and why?

I miss both Richard and Carol. I liked both of the Des's, but couldn't get on with it after the new pair started. I used to watch it without fail every day, not now, which is a shame. I used to love Richard Stilgoe and also Richard Digance.

Me too. I recorded and kept the tributes. Always cheered me up but with a tear too. Until the box broke and I lost them.

Why does she do that? Does she really think we all watch programmes like this just to hear her screeching voice? She does it every time she is on whatever the programme - if I wanted to hear her obnoxious voice I would pay to go and see her.

I think you'll find she's plugging her latest CD too. Jo Brand used to be hilarious, she got a 9 letter word out of any selection of letters!

I went to see Richard Digence [ex dictionary corner guest and comic] a few
years back and he told the audience he would never darken the show again
after the way they treated Carol Vorderman. A few months down the line he
was back on there [he went back on his word] Times must be hard I know, and
the little seaside theatre was only half full.
