I thought it was pretty good. But you have to be a Star Wars fan - don't bother going to see this if you didn't even enjoy the first trilogy.

I was dissapointed.  It seemed like there was lots and lots of talking while looking angst ridden staring out of windows etc, and this was interspersed with fit inducing special effects.  The first trilogy was infinitely superior to the current one.

The light sabre battles are vastly superior in the 3 new movies. The new trilogy has lacked a cynical/comic character like Han Solo from the original movies. It strikes me that those who hate the new movies were expecting way too much from tjhem in the first place. OK, episode 1 was slow paced and a bit boring, but the same can't be said of episode 2 or 3. Really, these new one's were made with the fans in mind, and the originals probably had broader appeal.

To answer the question I thought the new movie was excellent.

I am not a Star Wars fan; and I don't think I have watched any of the episodes all the way through, but I went to see it yesterday in the cinema and thought it was brill.

I think it's really good.  The best of new trilogy not better than the any of the old trilogy.  I think the ending is brilliant!

elgroucho - I thought about that too, it seems Obi-Wan is the comic relief :)
