Did this programme exist?

I keep having images, recalled from a dormant memory by magazine article on 70's retro. The programme I keep thinking of is Sci-fi, perhaps made early to mid 1970's, probably American and very glamorous. I recall corridors and walls made of white panels and people in futuristic glam-rock attire. One young woman I believe has a pale, blunt-cut bob and cat suit. I must have been aged between 5 and 10 when the show aired in England so naturally my memory of it may not be so accurate. But when when I saw the magazine article a few months ago, it was all brought back to me. Looking at stills of this programme it seemed to be Sci-fi meets Vogue, as gross as it may sound. I've ruled out Doctor Who, Blakes 7, The Tomorrow People, Fantastic Voyage, Planet of the Apes, UFO, The Martian Chronicles, Barbarella. Did I dream the whole thing? Help me out here!

Sounds like it could be Logans Run where everyone met their maker once you were the grand old age of 30.

I was going to say Space:1999. Sounds like Moonbase Alpha.

Could it have been the one with Buck Rodgers in it? Can't remember the actual title of the programme unfortunately!!

space 1999- th walls on the moonbase sound right and the blunt blonde bob that was barbara bain???
do you remember a red haired woman that turned into any animal she thought about- the image of the animal apperaed in her eyes before she changed?
if you go on the net you can get the theme tune off TV cream....that will bring back memories if it is the one you are thinking about

Could be second series of Space:1999 or Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (latter more 1979/80).

"Star Maidens", same production designer as Space 1999. There is a great Star Maidens web site

Star Maidens has had no repeat broadcast in this country as far as I know. A DVD release may happen later this year in Australia. It was an Anglo-German co-production and shot on film. The soundtrack is available on a German CD. The British stars were Gareth ( Blake's 7 ) Thomas and Judy Geeson.
