I am trying to remember a movie from my childhood that I only vaguely remember...the plot goes something like this:
There are these two kids who get the clue "lapin" to try and find these diamonds. The bad guys in the movie think that the clue means bunny, so the bad lady in the movie tries to rip off the bunny at a dog racing stadium that is used to get the dogs to run around the track. The kids finally realize that the clue actually means "LA pin" so they look inside this American pin that they have and it has all the diamonds in it.
Any ideas?

I think it might be "Paws", featuring Billy Connolly as the voice of the dog.

a thousand thanks Mrchirpy, taken me about a year to get anything on it. thats the one i believe, just have to find a vhs player now as it ain't on dvd.
