Last Nights Graham Norton Show

Did anyone see this?
I have to admit that Cheryl Cole's career has largely passed me by. Beyond thumping a cloakroom attendant and being a judge on X-Factor I really don't know much about her, judging from last nights performance I haven't missed much!
Admittedly I only caught the end of the programme and may have missed her demonstrating her wit and wisdom, what I did see was a girl who seemed to be in a constant state of panic that she didn't get Ross Noble's jokes and were they aimed at her.
I am baffled by her god awful outfit and am still trying to work out why she was constantly grabbing her crotch as she mimed her way through her performance.
Apart from having beautiful eyes what does she bring to the world of entertainment???

I couldn't name a Girls Aloud song if I tried! I might recognise them though.
I half agree with you Craft but I remember seeing Mel C and Bryan Adams doing an acoustic set, 'When You're Gone' was incredible and after that I had the great respect for her.
I am deeply concerned that I'm turning into my mother, grumbling about outfits, dancing and music.........

Well I like her so ner! lol She is a stunning woman and I personally thought she came across well last night. Yes she can't sing live, fair enough....and sadly, thanks to the Jubilee Concert, we have discovered that neither can Paul McCartney, Cliff Richard or Elton John! I agree with craft, it seems to be when members of girl groups go solo it all seems to fall apart and it's discovered they can't sing. It's a shame because her albums are good albeit slightly electronically tweaked!
Vodka - to be fair to Elton, he had flu 10 days before hand and being the wuss, he was on oxygen, so I would cut him some slack - the others I agree were awful.
Cheryl is gorgeous and gets a lot of men's fantasies going....and it was more than blatantly obvious that Simon had the hots for her. Should have gone with him and stayed away from the rat the AC was....though I bet it was half a dozen of her too......I do agree with the sentiment that when it comes to finding a hubby and a family she may drop into the background more. Victoria Beckham she is not when it comes to the grey matter though she outscores Queen Grumpy on looks.
But I would prefer Katherine Jenkins in my bed, Tony........she has more brains too and seems a good sport - that scene on Norton with the Canadian opera dog was pure brilliance. Just found it....

That is a wonderful piece from Graham Norton with Katherine Jenkins & the scottie dog from Canada. I think that Cheryl Cole is lovely looking, but what the hell was she thinking when she chose that outfit to go on a tv show? And the crotch grabbing? what was that about? Mind you, I thought that Katy Perry was fun, but I think I would get very tired of all that arm-flinging around and high fiving and generally the exuberance after a short while. (God I'm getting old!)
