not necessary...the qt problem is a serious one and does affect the electrical pulses given by your heart. the ecg will clearly show if you suffer from this problem and send you for further tests if necessary. there are also other drugs they can prescribe if quetiapine is not suitable. it's good that they are doing an ecg, because many people prescribed that group of drugs don't get any tests.....which is incredibly poor practice. be happy with your doctor for being a responsible practitioner and try not to worry....it's unlikely to affect you x
