Where is the story with Janine and Michael going? He would have to murder both to get his hands on the money. He doesnt play a very convincing psychopath. Shaun does it much better!

Marriage cancels any existing will and makes the person making the will interstate until a new one is written. If Janine dies he would still inherit some under the intestacy rules but not all of it. The bulk would go to the child. Michael would be the baby's next of kin so he would have to knock them both off pretty quickly to get all of the money. Otherwise she would have to act pretty quickly to name the baby as sole beneficiary in her new will. Michael would then not be entitled to any of her estate which existed before the marriage.

Am I barking up the wrong tree? Under the soap rules Janine would have another child or husband somewhere who turns up unannounced at the hospital
Is Janine going to die? Do you know something we don't know?

Soaps don't play by the rules...

When one of the writers of EE was asked about Roxy's 3 million inheritance...he said 'figures are not my strong point'
How much did Janine's grandmother leave her?
Dunno...but millions.

She's set up businesses as well.
Janine(or the actress who plays her) has got 6 months off from EE and is coming back. I heard Michael does a runner after everybody disowns him butnot sur if thats true.

I do realise this is a documentary, not just fiction but there are lots of rules in Eastenders. The main one is everyone has a long lost relative who turns up unannounced. Everyone is on the merry go round of jobs and accommodation in the square. Parties are always held in broad daylight. A night out is always The Vic, Argey Bargey, then R&R. Champagne is always bought at the Vic, even though the local Tesco is half the price.

lol!

But then I do realise this is a documentrary
About that pre-nup - surely that wuldn't be the only copy?? You'd have one copy with a solicitior I'd have thought
Shaun is coming back.
I thought he hadn't signed the prenup..
he did after Jean told him that it was unlikely to stand because of some legal loophole
I thought it was torn up before they got married. He told he if she stands by the pre-nup then it means she doesn't trust him, so she ripped it up....or so I thought!
*he told her
That's right, but surely there wouldn't just be one copy of it, and that one being with Michael!
Ah very true...sorry brain not in gear today! lol
