If you are, and you like a drink, I would suggest you take your own. Hardly anywhere to buy alcohol in Heaton Park. One local pub is charging £8 for a pint and £6 for a burger. I'm supposed to be going to wedding reception near there tonight. It's going be murder with the traffic. Might go on foot.

My OH is off to see them in Dublin next week.
Wish I was going. I have all their music and played their first album every day for a year
Wish I was going too :-(
£8.00 for a pint??? rip off merchants.......
my daughters best friend is going apparently.
Hope the travelling in is more organised this evening. It looked awful on the tram stop in Piccadilly Gardens yesterday, rammed platform and large queues right off the platform both sides (including right round to Portland St) for the ticket machines. No Metrolink staff in sight either considering there are usually loads for United matches and they have machines to give tickets as well as the machines. Saying that, it looked calmer tonight with some double trams going out. Lots of pubs full with people spilling out onto the streets too.

Take That a few years ago at LCC was madness on the trams too - took me an hour just to get one one one night!

Hope they take lots of waterproofs, been having torrential showers on and off all day!
My son has gone today, he has vip tickets :-) he's sent me some photos on my phone, looks like he's having a good time!!
Seen some good reports, some interesting points left in the comments under the article about people getting there and back and bar problems and such...
