I'm looking for a singer comedian who sang a song about Majorie the problems page writer in the Daily Mirror in the 70s and 80s.
This comedian also sang a song "we are the Romans"
Lyrics included, "we are the Romans, we always walk this way..."
The eMphasis on this is that the Romans were camp.
Majorie song lyrics included:
"Dear jack my lad, your not ready for this yet"
And
"we were necking on our sofa at one of my mates houses, when Michael suddenly stopped and put his neck back in his trousers."
Obviously this is adult humour. Apologies if this causes any offence, but if anyone could assist in identifying this comedian singer, I would be grateful.
