I'm not a regular watcher of Emmerdale, but last night, I was amazed to see that the Dingles' front door is the type you would use for an outside cludgy, and there is a gap under it a ferret could trot under!

They may be chavvy farmer types, but no-one lives like that, surely!

There is a farm in the Dales near Semer Water where you go to pay the farmer for parking or camping, and the old farmhouse and buildings are just like that. You have to walk over mucky straw past the barking Collie in an open kennel on a chain. It always reminds me of the Dingles!

I know farmers are hardy types.

One New Year, we were invited to stay with some friends at Biggar in the Scotish Borders. They had arranged for us to sleep in a farmhouse, the owners who were friends of theirs were away.

When we woke up on January 1 - there was frost on the eiderdown (yes, I know!) which actually cracked when we pushed the covers back to get out of bed. When I went to use the loo, the water in it was frozen as well!!!!
just check coro street for that too lol
I always wonder how they afford to pay the bills!
i know the coro houses are just shells held up by poles inside from what ive seen
but if you notice no houses have door sills either.very drafty if they were real ???
That's why they never have any money cupid. Huge heating bills. Lol.
