Know this should be on TV etc - but I am a good lipreader - and Julie was calling this gentleman a w ker when they were being interviewed by Willis. Unbelievable for a disabled 70 year old pensioner. God help all those who worked with her for 25 years in Corrie - she must have been hell on earth.

I am a 70+ pensioner and I swear sometimes especially in the car ! but I agree she does not come across as anice person more like a demented female Victor Meldrew but nasty with it.

I'm not keen on Julie Goodyear and have never watched CBB so have no idea what Connemmara is alluding to really. I have seen news reports that Ms Goodyear was quite nasty though.

The thing with Julie was, if she felt she was being victimised she'd play the disabled (her word) pensioner card, implying she was frail and how could they, etc etc.

I think that's what she's really like and she can't see anything wrong with her behaviour.

It also turned my stomach the way she constantly chewed her gum, not the fact she was chewing but how she chewed it, month open and 'cocky-like'. If a younger person was doing that on tv, there would not doubt be more comments of disrespect etc. To me with all her mannerism & two-faced, she was grotesque!

Ummm I agree with you that was not acting that was the real her. Also at times when Brian was interviewing her she was taking the gum out of her mouth and was rolling it between her fingers cos she had to answer some questions. She is very delusional in that she thinks she is well liked by the public. Anyway she is OUT.
