Dangerous Dave

Does anyone remember a character called Dangerous Dave? He used to be on an American tv show that was broadcast in the UK about 20 years ago. It was meant to be taking the mickey out of Evil Kneavil. Dave always described the stunt he was going to perform and you just knew there was no way it would come off. After each attempt, Dave would be carted off to hospital, saying he would be back! The question is, what show did Dangerous Dave feature in? I need to know this to preserve my sanity and to convince all the doubters!

I thought he was called Super Dave.   There was even a spin off animated cartoon of him too

I recall this too and think it was show called Bizarre and featured 'Super' Dave Osbourne

Why am I automatically thinking of Brian Connelly, didn't he do a sketch similar to this on his show a few years back?

Brian Connely did a similar Character called Dangerous Brian. He wore a balaclava and wiggled his ears alot.
