Does anyone remember these three comedians and, if so, did you find them funny? I know thy were very popular in their time but they didn't make me laugh.

I do recall the famous sketch when CD was thrown through a window, and was supposed to stand up and appear in the broken frame and say a line, and nothing happened.
This was 'live' TV, and in fact, Drake was out cold having bashed his head as he fell, so the other actors were left standing there like lemons - forget if they faded it out, or what happened next.
I also know that in Z-Cars, also shown 'live' an actor died on set, and they had to carry on until an ad break before they could move him off the set.

I didn't know that story about Z-cars, andy.
As I child in the late 1960s I usually watched Harry Worth on TV and, like many others at the time, enjoyed it. I also listened to him on the radio. But I heard a re-run of a radio show on Radio4 Extra and the humour was so predictable and silly that I had to switch off. I expect I'd find his old programmes silly now.
