Downton's Thomas

I seem to recall Thomas the footman from Downton Abbey shooting his fingers off in Episode 1 of Series 2, yet now his hands seem totally normal aside from an occasionally visible bandage. What do you remember of his exact injury?

I thought he just had a shot through the hand. Not sure though. He's a nasty piece of work!

I just remember that he shot himself, through the hand, in order to be sent home.
He is a horrible character and he now seems to have lost his ally. Lady Cora's maid, can't remember her name)

If you remember Tilly, he was in the trenches and stuck has hand in the air for the Germans to shoot. Coward! O'Brien I think is Lady Cora's maid.

Oh, yes. I remember now!

Mrs O'Brien is a force to be reckoned with. Thomas may get his come uppance. Then again, there has to be someone causing trouble otherwise it would be too sweet and sickly.

Did Mr Bates kill his first wife, is what we need to know.

I personally don't think he did. But then He is quite attractive - especially in prison without the brylcreem!

He was good in Coronation Street.

Of course he killed her, can't stand the man! whereas Sir Anthony now, he´s lovely and about my age!!!!

they seem to be steering thomas away from the gay storyline, is that to suit the american audience do you think, he'd have been great doing a high kicking duet with shirley mclaine,

in character or the actor? if it's the character then there may be a storyline with thomas in the offing

I didn't know Brendan Coyle was in Coronation Street. Then again, I don't watch it anymore. Haven't watched it since Julie Goodyear left..

Can't because I don't know what the shock is. I have seen some spoiler still photo's this morning and the last one is them standing at the alter with a caption underneath it saying but then Lady Edith receives a devastating shock !
