censoring the bad guys & jumping the gun?
see this: http:// www.exp ress.co ...-The -Pops-a xed-by- BBC All very well, yet the BBC still show repeats of EastEnders featuring leslie Grantham who committed the more serious crime of murder. Then there are documentaries on Hitler, Saddam, etc. I mean, where should the line be drawn? And also doesn't this mean the BBC are now declaring Savile guilty before any proper investigation has taken place?

Given that some of the allegations relate specifically to the BBC, in the sense that it would seem that several influential employees knew about these events, or that at least some of the events are alleged to have taken place on BBC premises, it would not be suitable to broadcast such shows.

What I can't understand about this case is the fact that Saville was at times under investigation, and yet he was never arrested.and charged.
Yet back in 2003 Matthew Kelly was arrested on stage of a Birmingham theatre, all part the Operation Arundle that caught up with Jonathan King, Tam Paton, former manager of the 1970s pop group Bay City Rollers, and Steve Jolley, a music tycoon.
