It's pretty good in my opinion. There have been some forgettable ones and some that have completely flopped in terms of sales. I'd name them but I can't immediately remember them

And the most recent two Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace were pretty forgettable.

I think Adele has captured the established style of the early classics but in an up to date form.

I'm sorry but I've got to agree with deggers I know some of the others have been a bit grim but this is the first one to make me change stations when it comes on.

I liked it when I first heard it but am liking it less and less the more I hear it. Imo it never quite 'gets there' and dare I say it is almost a bit dreary.

I agree with snags- some songs grow on you, whereas I immediately liked this but very quickly got a little bored with it

I'm not sure it's the "worst ever" or which one would get that title, but it's a bit dreary and she sounds completely uninterested in it. But it's Adele, who is of course officially wonderful and a National Treasure, or something, so I suppose we're meant to think it's "amazing".

I think Zeuhl was a bit harsh on the Casino Royale one - a much, much better Bond theme than this tepid offering. But yes the Quantum of Solace one was a total mess.

I read a review earlier-and the reviewer said that the song worked perfectly in the context of the movie. So maybe you need to experience both together.

Judged on it's own I think it's dire..............in the context of the screen play I think it's brilliant.
