2005 would be when it started. I would imagine this was recorded a few months back.

Yeah, I read an article about this series before it aired, so I guess it was just an eerie coincidence, but 2005 was when it first came out.

Filming of the 7 episodes took place in the latter half of May. Armando Iannucci tweeted that all filming was completed on the 29th.
