I thought that the VP would become president and then Brodie be his VP. The president woudl get topped and Brodie by default would step into the top job. Now he's been rumbled who thinks he will now be 'turned' by David and Saul and the plot will now see the naughty guys be given up by Brodie? Who else will be revealed in the government as Al Q?

I agree.
Can' t help thinking the daughter is going to become instrumental to the plot.

This prompted me to go looking at the Homeland site:

Very interesting! Warning - there be spoilers ...

Naomi24, we seem to be thinking along the same lines re the daughter. Can't be as simple as "blown", Lewis has signed a 5 year contract to the show! Estes will turn out to be pivotal and the mole, he's British, David Harewood, and the Americans like to use a Brisitsh actor for a hate character. He also was instrumental in Carrie's predicament in Series 1, he destroyed all her investigation into Azir's timeline. There again, Saul was responsible for having her arrested after the shooting!
The "five year contract" could be just a bit of misinformation put about by the producers ... ;)
As for what's coming next ... you don't learn THAT much at the link I gave. But you do learn a key piece of information about how the plot is going to develop, just as you might in a bad trailer. It won't really spoil it for me, but it might for some - a glimpse into the near future.
I didn't pick up any extra info about Saul (although I didn't hang around long). In series 1 I wasn't sure about Saul for a while, but by the end of it I was almost 100% sure he's solid. My mind was made up in the episode featuring the long drive he had with the terrorist woman.
