shol shoes gone missing
13 Answers
my grandson left his shoes at school after playing an after school sport, they couldnt be found the next day but found two days later and put in a cupboard "where none of the children go because they know they arent allowed" i go to get them and was told that they have now gone missing, and cant be found anywhere, i ask the school to reimburse me and was told "no" and that he should be held responsible for looking after them, fair enough but they were found and now gone missing again, do you think they school should pay for them? bearing in mind that they were clarks so not cheap?

Is the cupboard locked? I think that once it had been acknowledged that a representative of the school had taken the shoes into their care, then they become responsible for the safekeeping of those shoes.....but different from a child leaving stuff lying around or stuff being nicked from a public area of the school like a cloakroom or corridor.
