What films make you cry?  For whatever reason. For me I always cry from the beginning to the end of 'It's a Wonderful Life'

Showgirls.  Dear God, why was that forced upon us?

Million Dollar Baby

Ice Age

Dirty Dancing

Oh and Racing Stripes

Born Free and AI, I try and avoid films that might make me cry if the kids are there cos they'd tease me for days!
Haven't actually ever cried at a film, but It's A Wonderful Life is always a close call for me.
Isn't it funny- I'd heard so much about Wonderful Life and yet when I finally watched it it had no effect on me whatsoever! I always cry at the last few minutes of Trains, Planes and Automobiles (a comedy!) when John Candy goes back home with Steve Martin on Thanksgiving and they ask him in and he stands in the doorway smiling and squishing up his hat with his hands- gets me everytime.

The Jacket, oddly enough.

Wonderful Life and Elephant Man also, good to see those mentioned.

Hi Peri, yes it's that bit where Bruce meets the cop who he's been liaising with over the radio. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO glad someone else understands! lol
The end of 'Philadelphia' with Tom Hanks, with his childhood played out from home videos at the wake. I've read reviews of the film, where some critics say it's almost too sad. Definitely the saddest one for me, tears every time.

Dancer in the Dark. Was inconsolable for hours afterwards and I'm not exaggerating! Still brings a tear to my eye just thinking of the end.

Breaking the Waves does exactly the same too.

Last section of 'Betty Blue'.

The Bridges Of Madison County. I've watched it so many times I know the script but it still gets me going!
Castaway for me like.....WILSON!!!!
Truly Madly Deeply, when the friendly ghosts are waving.  Also Parenthood with Steve Martin, the closing scene.

Animals always get to me in films. I blub uncontrollably when the pets finally reach their family in 'The Incredible Journey.' Tao and Luath arrive minutes before Bodger. The child owner says that he had to expect the older, weaker Bodger to die.

Then Bodger runs in.

I'm filling up as I read.  Spudqueen I even cried during Conan the Barbarian when one of the otters/weasels died.  I'm that bad.  Yep anything with animals, Lorcan I always cry as the old dog comes over the hill.  Turner and Hooch I couldn't watch or K-9 just in case.

Song of the South for me too! And Saving Private Ryan.... Oh, too many to remember! I can get, erm a little bit emotional!

Little house on the prairie - every single week.  Even when it got really corny, after Mary(?) went blind.  OMG!!!!
I m the same about sad animal films or t.v. I can cope, just about! with sad human stories, but sad animal stories are just too upsetting! Especially if it's anything to do with cats or dogs.I saw my first Lassie film too soon after my first dog died, and it just broke my heart all over again.
I am a bit of a weeper aswell I could list so many I have cried to but these are the ones that made me really really blub.
Whale Rider
Legend of the Falls
E.T
Lassie
The Green Mile
Forrest Gump
Resevoir Dogs (yes I know, but I feel so sorry for the poor ear man!)
Life is Beautiful
To name but a few : )
