Can anyone tell me the music used in the "Highlands and Glens" episode leading up to the North-East Grampians and to Balmoral?  Sort of classical-dance music.

Already tried BBC - they claim that answering questions on music used in their programmes is against licence policy.

Ummm... if it's the piece I think you're on about, it sounded very Michael Nyman-esque, but I'm afraid I don't know the actual piece used.

Hi,

I've just found this on the Michael Nyman web site - hope it helps.

"01 June 2005 - The trailer for David Dimbleby's new BBC Series "A Picture of Britain" uses the track "Becoming Jerome" from the soundtrack to "Gattaca" by Michael Nyman.
